The smoothie for reduced risk and treatment of Polymyalgia Rheumatica 

Yield: 2 serving (about 8 ounce each)
1 1/4 cups grape
1/4 cup pumpkin
1 cup green tea drink (Make from 4 grams of green tea, and a cup of hot water lipped for 5 minutes. Set aside for cooling to room temperature)

1. Place all ingredients in a blender and puree about 1 minute
2. Blend on high speed about 1 minute or until the mixture is thick and the ice is well crushed. Add more green tea drink if needed
3. Serve immediately

Its phytochemical, cucurbitacins have exhibited the anti inflammatory diseases and may also be used for reduced risk and treatment of Polymyalgia Rheumatica(PMR)(1).
According to the Cairo University, Cairo University, cucurbitacins found in Iberis amara, extract promotes anti rheumatic inflammatory conditions to help safeguard the integrity of the endothelium and reduces the risk of vascular complications(7).
The University of South of Santa Catarina study also lend a support of anti inflammatory effect of cucurbitacins through suppressing the COX-2 proinflammatory cytokines(8).

People who are at increased risk of Polymyalgia Rheumatica(PMR) due to aging, occupations, family history, gene mutation,....should drink at least one cup daily and people with Polymyalgia Rheumatica(PMR) should drink the smoothie as much as they can, depending to digestive and liver toleration.
